UK & Destination Photography
You started here. You knew you want high quality wedding photos from start to finish that embrace core photographic principles and you can see those little differences. You don’t want a happy snapper who can’t explain how they get their results, but someone with a defined approach which leads to consistency.
Your photographer must love the challenge of naturally capturing the unique spirit of your wedding day, whether in the UK or in your ideal destination abroad. Recording friends and family are an important part of this, but an unobtrusive and relaxed approach to producing artistic, atmospheric, sophisticated and witty reportage photographs, plus beautiful photographs of the two of you, are more important.
If it’s raining on your wedding day and I say “let’s go out and get creative with the rain and a brolly” .. your answer would be “lead on!”.
You would like your photographs to be full of energy, fun, tears, laughter, life and beauty.
I love to have fun at weddings and will laugh along with guests and yourselves! This is a core element of my photography and this enjoyment shines through in the photos I take, as my testimonials show.
So, when people describe my photography, the word which comes up time and time again is natural. We can all tell when a couple have been told to “pose like this with your hand up there”, right? Instead, I have fun with newly-weds and capture your guests in a relaxed fashion. I also talk to them too and laugh with them, so I’m not the creepy guy in the corner. My unique approach to wedding photography produces my unique work.
Having a thirst for knowledge has resulted in National Photographer of the Year & “Queensberry Bragging Rights” awards. I’m known for being very detail oriented (no trees growing out of heads or me!). Every photograph is perfectly crafted using my 10 years experience in various photography styles and meticulously finished with bold colours or a unique vintage style. I also go to great lengths to make sure that everything is just right for you.
If this sounds like the You + Me that you want with your wedding photographer, please get in touch to discuss your day in more detail! I’d love to hear more about your plans and you’d be welcome to visit to chat about photography in more detail, with no obligation.

Where do I travel? What types of weddings do I cover?
I am based close to Warrington, so many of my weddings are based around the North West of England close to Manchester and in the surrounding counties, but I travel throughout the UK and internationally with destination weddings too. I have photographed as far away as Wales and Scotland and abroad in Sicily and Italy. I’m love to travel.
I’ve photographed at some of the UK most stunning luxury venues too, such as the incredibly lavish Claridges in Mayfair, prestigious Peckforton Castle, gothic Allerton Castle, intimate Inglewood Manor, regal Knowsley Hall, memorable Chatsworth House, timeless Thornton Manor, relaxed Ashes farm and unique Styal Lodge.
When offered to opportunity, I take full advantage of stunning gardens at Kew Gardens, Arley Hall, Iscoyd Park and Coombe Abbey or one-off locations like Nunsmere Hall pier. I’m equally at home making the most of extraordinary architecture in urban locations like Great John Street Hotel and Manchester Town Hall.
If you’re looking for a winter wedding, I’m very experienced at working with the light on a shorter day and didn’t mind getting my feet caked in snow at Eaves Hall! Whenever I can, I rise to exclusive challenges such as a same sex wedding, Steampunk wedding, Boho styled wedding, Papakata tent wedding or Chinese wedding.
I also love the unique traditions of Muslim, Hindu and Sikh ceremonies in Asian weddings and am experienced with the traditions of each.
Whether you’re looking for a UK photographer close to home at a stunning Cheshire country house, or an urban Manchester venue or dream of a beautiful destination wedding by the beach, I will be available for your special day.
