About

I love photographing weddings, whether North West, Nationally or Internationally.

The opportunity to capture the love, beauty, drama and overwhelming emotion of the most special day in your life is a responsibility I take seriously.

My background is in fashion. That gave me an understanding of how to capture dynamic and striking images and I have taken that experience into my weddings work. Knowing when and how to capture that defining moment is an art and my use of flattering lighting and my skill in post-production ensures you get images you’ll cherish forever.

This is your day and I realise that in many cases it will be your first experience of dealing with a photographer. But my relaxed and natural style will put you at ease.

I won’t make you pose in awkward positions – I want you to capture the real you. From my time on your day, through to my work on your album, you will get the very best of me.

PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR 2010

Being named Photographer of the Year was a great honour. It is voted for by the Guild of Photographers’ Panel and was a validation of all my hard work and dedication.

To win I had to submit three images every month for a year. It is a reward for consistency as well as outstanding images. The Guild asked me to become a judge for a time to mentor and train newer photographers.

My photographic journey

I began taking photographs in 2002 when I bought my brother’s old camera. After a year of capturing images of animals and landscapes I moved into fashion and studio work. Five years later, I began to accept weddings – they are now my passion.

I also love to travel. My time on safari in Kenya, in Cuba and on the Inca Trail allowed me to capture some incredible images.
