Ant & Georgia shared a very vintage wedding from start to finish. They totally did it right – from the dress, to the poses, to the bunting, the typewriter, the pimms and scones… it was a classic vintage wedding in every way. So, it made sense that I photographed it in a vintage way and applied a vintage colouring to the photographs while in post production.
Georgia prepared with her friends close to the Church. She was the picture of 50’s glamour with her carefully chosen dress and accessories. It was clear Ant was a little nervous about the day but when Georgia turned up they shared a beautiful ceremony full of happiness and joy.
Outside, a vintage bus was waiting for them and their guests to take them to their sunny field and marquee. I spent a fair while photographing the details since I knew that Georgia had spent a long time organising them all.
Their afternoon was full of fun (see the bouncy castle!) for them and their guests and, as we went off to take some photographs of them, they were clearly as happy as they could have been.
After a massive BBQ everyone sat down for a fun set of speeches. Ant is a particularly amusing guy and his speech was greeted with roars of laughter. Into the evening they served ice cream from an ice cream van, had a photograph in the photobooth and then celebrated their first dance together. And then the party really started!
