Leila & Charlie chose The Mere in Knutsford as their venue and they went to town with the decorations, making the venue totally their own.
From the moment I arrived here were plenty of smiles as Leila and her bridesmaids prepared in their suite. The morning went by surprisingly fast though as they enjoyed each others company. Her parents looked on as the venue was dressed downstairs with an enormous amount of candles adorning the ceremony room.
As the time came for Leila to finish by getting into her dress, her parents waited outside and couldn’t contain their emotions as they saw her for the first time. Downstairs, Charlie was keeping the guests entertained and they were finally escorted into the ceremony room for Leilas entrance.
And what an entrance!
The smiles gave a warm glow to the room while the aisle was lit up like a Christmas tree! After an emotional marriage they were husband and wife and could leave hand in hand to greet their guests properly.
Soon I grabbed a couple of buggies and whisked them off to take some couple shots, which was a chance for them to chat and reminisce about the day so far.
And into the evening..
Soon after it was time for the wedding breakfast and the speeches. The room was again decorated with an amazing amount of flowers and candles and looked incredible as the couple made their entrance. The speeches flowed one to the next and were met with laughter and applause – a generous crowd!
The final important ceremonial elements of the day were cutting of the cake and the first dance, which the couple enjoyed, before dancing the night away with friends and family. Oh, but one last thing; fireworks were set off late in the night too! They pressed the button and watched as their evening of celebration exploded into it’s finale.
