Manjit & Sucha were married amongst the unique splendor of a Sikh ceremony at Thornton Manor. Throughout the day they used the various location within the grounds, including a breakfast at the lakeside marquee and the enormous walled garden marquee for their evening party.
After significant preparation, Manjit and her family made their way to the Manor to await the ceremony while Sucha joined their guests for breakfast. Their ceremony was held in the magnificent dining room, with one of the most incredible ceilings I’ve seen in a Hall. Afterwards they held their Civil Ceremony and it was finished!
The rest of the day was spend in a blur of mingling, speeches, eating and finally a first dance. The tradition of the groom having to pay for entry to collect his bride was honoured before the couple left for their life together.
