Nicola & Matt shared the most unique Steampunk wedding at the Museum of Science and Industry (MOSI) in Manchester. They celebrated in their own way and had fantastic fun from start to finish!
They both prepared with their friends and family at Great John Street Hotel, just a stones throw from MOSI. Their steampunk outfits were carefully put together and they both looking amazing and complimented the theme of the day incredibly well. Nicolas Ian Stuart dress was particularly incredible!
After they had transferred to the Museum in a camper van, they made their way into the ceremony room. There was virtually no light in the room and in order to balance the light with the fairy lights, I had spent an hour setting up lighting in the morning – but it was worth it for the final effect, which looked beautiful.
After they were married, they moved across to the drinks reception among the trains and we took photographs of them in various carriages. It was a fantastic chance to take photographs which were unique and very Steampunk in style – I do love a challenge!
Their guests then made their way across to the wedding breakfast to find their seats – which turned out to be a little game of finding the right lego character. They had spent many hours building little lego people who reflected their friends and family. Great idea!
After they had eaten they chose not to have the usual speeches but instead chat and relaxed with friends until it was time for them to have their first dance and begin a party which would last quite a while…
