Dewsall Court in Hereford played host to Rachel and Liams amazing, intimate wedding on a beautiful day in February! Weddings this far from the North West are considered to be destination weddings by me – and it was great to visit another area for their special day!
I was immediately stuck by the warm atmosphere at Dewsall Court; the whole wedding venue is hired and you have the run of the house. It feels literally like being at home – completely with the party happening in the kitchen and around the pool table!
Rachels knee-length wedding dress meanwhile looked incredible in photos hanging from the beams in the bridal suite as she and the girls readied themselves for the day ahead while the guys welcomed and entertained guests until the wedding ceremony complete with entrance, marriage and signing.
After they were officially man and wife, they enjoyed laughs and catch ups with friends and family before spending time in the beautiful gardens among the snowdrops as a married couple.
During this time, the florist had spent 4 hours (yes 4!) setting up the table unique centre piece ready for the wedding breakfast. I’ve never seen anything so unusual and ornate! She started with grass in the centre of the table and built up a woodland theme on top! Wow! There are some images below, but take a look at some more photos of it if you’d like.
After dinner they shared a very tearful set of speeches with their friends and family watching on and offering support and encouragement before I took Rachel outside for a requested photograph at the side of the venue.
Before long it was time for the cake cutting and first dance. They had a fantastic band who made the most of the party spirit.
A truly fantastic day…
