What is post-production?

Post production is the work done to the photos after they’ve been taken. Often the quality of post-production work separates professional photographers.

My work has taught me the value of the little differences, especially in the accuracy of colours and tones.

I use a special colour calibration device to make sure the colours are as close as possible to reality. This provides much richer colours throughout but the largest improvement is in indoor lighting. The first two shots demonstrate this particularly well – see the difference in skin and background colours.
